Directions

  1. Grape Drink: Add 3.75 cups (900 mL) cold water to large container. Add Grape Drink Crystals; stir until dissolved. Stir in 4 cups (1 L) cold water until well mixed. Refrigerate.
  2. Lime Bar Mix: Add 2 cups (500 mL) cold water to large container; stir in Lime Professional Bar Mix until dissolved. Stir in (1 cup) 250 mL cold water until well mixed. Refrigerate.
  3. Cocktail: Thread each skewer with 2 grapes. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. For each serving, fill glass with ice cubes. Top with 1/4 cup (60 mL) prepared Grape Drink, 2 tbsp (30 mL) prepared Lime Bar Mix, 3 tbsp (45 mL) tea and ¼ cup (60 mL) soda water. Stir until well combined. Garnish each serving with 1 grape skewer and lime wedge.

Tips: Alternatively, shake cocktail in cocktail shaker with ice. Pour into ice-filled glass and garnish as above.

For strong brewed tea, pour 3 cups + 3 tbsp (800 mL) hot boiling water over 3 bags black tea. Let steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags. Let cool completely and then chill until ready to use. Use regular or decaffeinated black tea. Orange pekoe and English breakfast are good choices of black tea for this recipe. If desired, add splash of vanilla extract.

To make this an alcoholic drink, substitute brewed black tea with bourbon, or for mocktails, substitute non-alcoholic bourbon.
