Product description
A classic creamy, convenient and easy to prepare, stove-top custard.
Preparation
- Add 2.8 L cold milk and 2.8 L cold cream (35 % m.f.) to a pot.
- Stir in 1 kg of Creme Brulee mix with a wire whisk.
- Gently bring to a boil while stirring.
- Simmer for 30 seconds while stirring constantly.
- Pour into serving bowls that can withstand heat (ramekins). Allow bowls to stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour, until a skin forms on the surface.
- Sprinkle sugar on surface of desserts.
- Broil or burn top with a propane torch until browned and a hard crust has formed.
- Serve immediately.
