Butterscotch Cooked Pudding and Pie Filling Mix
Product description
Luxuriously creamy pudding with rich butterscotch flavour is easily prepared by combining with milk and cooking until thickened.
Preparation
- Heat 1 L 2% milk in steam-jacketed kettle or heavy pot.
- Pour 4 L cold 2% milk into a separate container.
- While stirring, gradually add 1 kg (full bag) of pudding and pie filling mix.
- Stir mixture into hot milk.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to boil (bubbles break surface) and begins to thicken.
- Simmer stirring at minimum heat for no longer than 1 minute.
- Cool slightly.
- Pour into individual dishes or cool baked pie shells.
- Refrigerate.
